Bocafloja "Patologias del Invisible Incomodo"

Bocafloja "Patologias del Invisible Incomodo"

Bocafloja broke down what this album is all about so beautifully in this video... as well as on his bandcamp where it says "Patologias del Invisible Incomodo" is an album in which Bocafloja deals with the concept of the body as a vehicle of transgression toward hegemony. It is a project that speaks about the invisibility of people of color and the discomfort that individuals cause in certain settings. Soul and jazz infused beats with profound, insightful and always critical lyricism.

I'll just add that I'm so proud and inspired by my brother, and very honored to be featured on this album alongside Hollis Wong-Wear (of Canary Sing and The Heartfelts) on a track produced by Jim B. entitled Agonia, where we talk about colonization's affect on our bodies, specifically with food. The album is quality all the way through... and other features include Moyenei, Cambio, Hache St, Favi, Guerrilla Queenz, Michelle Ricardo and Fabian Villegas... as well as production from BeanOne, Danny Beat, Vnrable and much more. Get the album on iTunes or Bandcamp today... and keep up with all the amazing work from Quilomboarte over at www.emancipassion.com
